Being at the North side of Elbrus you may lost your impression that you are at the Caucasus. It is more as Peak Lenin expedition. It is so wide space and great dimension of the confluent of all valleys tributaries of Malka river! Baksan (big valley!) is small and narrow one in compare with this space. You may estimate the greatest volcanic activity of this Giant! Enormous stages scoria plateaus of lava and pyroclast lead to its volcanic cone.
